Azadi Tower [also known as the Freedom Tower] is a famous landmark in Tehran, Iran. It was built in 1971 to celebrate 2,500 years of the Persian Empire. The tower was designed by Hossein Amanat. It mixes modern style with traditional Persian architecture. This makes it a unique building in Iran.
