‘Give your head a shake, old guy’ – ex-Canadian PM to Trump

Jean Chretien has said Ottawa should “play offense” and join forces with other states to counter the US president-elect

“….The former prime minister described the incoming US leader’s talk of absorbing Canada as “totally unacceptable insults and unprecedented threats to our very sovereignty.”

“We may look easy-going. Mild-mannered. But make no mistake, we have spine and toughness,” the veteran politician stressed. He urged Canadian officials of all levels to start showing leadership….”

Introduction:

Greencrow says: Folks what I have done here is combine–in one turgid post–the trifecta of tirades that I unleashed on this blog over the past weeks in response to Donald Trumps’ unforgivable and likely insane attack on Canada over Christmas, 2024. I am combining all the posts and links for ease of reference in future as this crisis unfolds.

Canadians were thrown into an anxious tizzy over the Christmas holidays and and I started a post which I called Trump: The Grinch that Stole Canada’s Christmas. I did not finish it but instead have incorporated the following paragraphs from it into this post:

************

Trump should be invited up to Canada and the meeting should take place on Queenston Heights in Ontario—the sight of the last US/Canada conflict–when a small group of around 1000 Canadians defeated a larger 3000 army of Americans. The huge monument to General Sir Isaac Brock, killed in the battle and one of the first Canadians to die for Canada, will be in the background.

How the Canadians found out that Trump was planning to steal our nation out from under us:

Trump – The Grinch that Stole Canadians’ Christmas 2024

The following is how I found out about Trump’s threat – from this report dated December 25, 2024 published in RT:

**********

“Trump Mocks Opponents In Christmas Message

The US president-elect has singled out China, Canada, Panama, Greenland and the Democrats

“US President-elect Donald Trump has posted a Christmas message taking potshots at China, Panama, Canada, Greenland, and his domestic political opponents.

The Republican, who is slated to return to the White House in January, put up two posts on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, wishing “Merry Christmas to all.”

The first on his list were “the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal.” The US controlled the waterway between the Atlantic and the Pacific for almost a century before handing it back to Panama in 1999. The local government has since contracted Chinese companies to operate it.

Trump also sent season’s greetings to “Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose citizens’ taxes are far too high,” but would be lowered by 60% “if Canada was to become our 51st state.”

“Likewise, to the people of Greenland, which is needed by the United States for national security purposes and who want the US to be there, and we will!” Trump added. He has recently revived the idea of US control over Greenland after his offer to buy the self-governed Danish island was rejected in 2019.

“Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics,” Trump continued, accusing the Democrats of trying to obstruct the US courts and elections, while going after him and other Americans.

“They know that their only chance of survival is getting pardons from a man who has absolutely no idea what he is doing,” Trump added, referring to outgoing President Joe Biden. He also brought up the fact that Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates to life in prison, saying they should “go to hell” instead.

“We had the greatest election in the history of our country, a bright light is now shining over the USA, and in 26 days we will Make America Great Again,” the president-elect concluded. “Merry Christmas!”

Trump, who will be inaugurated on January 20, has already teased a series of “day one” actions, from executive orders on immigration and energy to brokering a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.”

Greencrow continues: Many, if not most, Canadians thought that Trump was “Joking” when he threatened to annex Canada. Greencrow knew from the instant I read the report that he was deadly serious. That’s why I’m a truth blogger, folks, I have a strange and terrible ability to immediately sense geopolitical danger and especially to the nation that I love, Canada. I am slowly moving towards the conclusion that this annexation of Canada announcement by Trump is a long-planned psy-op. It could have even been planned as far back [or before] when the South Park cartoons were released on TV–to inculcate and prepare the very young to the idea that Canada could be annexed by the US.

We should prepare to be “blindsided” by more announcements/threats along with some treasonous betrayals at the very highest levels of Canadian governance.

I am going to say something here that’s quite shocking: The only entity that can save Canada is Putin/Russia. They are watching this situation closely and no doubt regard the threats against Canada/Greenland as similar to the “NATO’ incursions into their western border in Ukraine. The threat to take Canada and Greenland is EXACTLY the same threat on Russian borders/security. Putin’s trying to arrange a meeting with Trump–and will no doubt tell him that fact in person.

What follows is a compilation of all my previous posts on this topic in order of publication. As I say, I am putting them all together as an archive for future reference for me and my readers:

UPDATED: Trump’s Megalomanic War on Canada, Panama, Greenland

UPDATED: BREAKING NEWS: As discussed in this post below, some Canadians HAVE already applied to the Federal Court of Canada to get Trudeau’s narcissistic Prorogation of Parliament set aside. Here is the story from X”

********

BREAKING NEWS Today, two Canadians have asked the Federal Court to declare that Prime Minister Trudeau’s decision to prorogue Parliament is unreasonable and must be set aside.  With help from the Justice Centre, applicants David MacKinnon and Aris Lavranos contend that a prorogued Parliament services the interests of the Liberal Party of Canada

@liberal_party and not the interests of Canadians to whom they are responsible. A prorogued Parliament suspends all parliamentary activity and shields the government from democratic accountability.  Lawyer James Manson

@JamesManson6263 stated that this decision “violates the constitutional principles of Parliamentary sovereignty and accountability.” Applicant David MacKinnon likened this decision to tyranny and the withering of our constitutional heritage.  Read the fully story here: https://jccf.ca/canadians-challenge-prime-ministers-decision-to-prorogue-parliament-no-reasonable-justification/… For media inquiries, please contact media@jccf.ca.:”

@JamesManson6263 addresses the Prime Minister’s January 6 announcement that Parliament will be prorogued, or suspended, until March 24, 2025.”

Greencrow comments: Bravo to all those who worked at warp speed [as Trump would say] to defend Canada from the series of attacks it is taking from Trudeau. Now back to my original post below:

***************

Trudeau’s Fake Resignation is only 24 hours old and already the ramifications are beginning to penetrate the fuZZy brains of the brainwashed Canadian sheeple. We are left leaderless at the very time in history when our sovereignty has never been more threatened.

The jackass to the south thinks that Canada is just like Puerto Rico…a barren island that can be annexed and kept as a trophy or, worse, treated like Gaza and cleansed of any annoying indigenous resistance. We don’t really know what’s going on in that megalomania brain.

The only hope on the horiZon is the discovery of a British precedent in law where the UK Supreme court ruled not too long ago that Prime Minister Boris Johnson prorogued parliament illegally. Please read the following from an X post by Karl Harrison:

***********

“Its time to challenge Trudeau in the courts in relation to his unlawful proroguing of our parliament. There is high precedent from the UK Supreme Court which can be used. If we don’t challenge this sort of thing then charlatans will always be happy in high office in Canada.”

Apparently the UK Supreme Court Ruled that Boris Johnson’s prorogation of the UK Parliament was a Justiciable act [aka they could rule on it] The UK Supreme Court found that Johnson’s advise to the Queen to prorogue Parliament was outside the powers of the Prime Minister.

The Court further found that “the prorogation of Parliament did have the effect of frustrating Parliament’s constitutional functions, … As a result the Court quashed the relevant Order in Council which meant the effect of the royal proclamation of prorogation had the legal effect of “a blank piece of paper” and reverted the 2017-19 Parliament into being in session.”

Hallelujah! or, more precisely, Eureka! We have found it! We’ve found the legal tool to get Parliament back into session and not just sit on the sidelines while the jackal Trump and his pittbull media tear Canada to shreds.

Hopefully, this Supreme Court Petition to look at JFT’s narcissistic prorogation of our Parliament will happen immediately if not sooner. Canada needs a Non Confidence Motion and an Election like a man crawling across the Sahara Desert in the blaZing heat needs a drink of water.

Meanwhile both Panama and Greenland/Finland are mounting resistance to Trump’s over-arching megalomania in their directions. Folks. After over a year of the world watching in horror as Trump’s Zionist handlers commit the worst genocide in modern history in Gaza…how he could think ANYONE would want to be part of that outfit is going to be a mystery for the ages. Stay tuned.

ADDENDUM #1 VERY GOOD OP-ED FROM RT ON THIS ISSUE LAYS IT ALL OUT LIKE A NEAT WAITER:

Anyone who still thinks Trumps threats to annex are just “jokes” is a brainwashed idiot. Here’s why.

*********

Here’s why Trump’s talk of annexing Canada and Greenland should not be dismissed The US president-elect’s “shopping cart” of other countries’ properties should worry all American vassals – Op-ed by Tarik Cyril Amar, a historian working at Koc university in Istanbul.

https://rt.com/news/610533-trump-annex-canada-greenland/…

Trump and his team of America’s bluntest and briskest can look funny. Their demands are so bracingly direct; their threats so refreshingly frank. It’s almost as if they are mightily enjoying themselves as they rub in the facts of brute American power: We, the US, are the best-armed, richest mobster family in town, and the new Don is greedier than Scarface and crasser than Tony Soprano!

Europe – buy more overpriced LNG from us or we’ll wreck your economy even more! Canada – just get with the program, any program, really, or we’ll recall that we’d like a land bridge to Alaska, sort of the shape of your state (pardon, country, chuckle, chuckle)! Panama – remember we own you and everything you think you own is ours, too! Or we’ll drop in – literally, with the 82nd Airborne and AC-130 gunships – to remind you (again). And this time we won’t even name it “Operation Just Cause.” “Operation Just Because” will do fine.

Denmark, listen up: You think Greenland is yours, but we know better. It’s really ours, and the only question is whether we do this the nice way or the hard way, because: Important Arctic and bad, bad China and Russia! Just take our word for it. Note, all of these objects of Trump’s bullying are, officially, Washington’s “allies.” In Canada’s case, the rough handling alone has already been enough to, in effect, topple its prime minister: Hapless Justin Trudeau couldn’t save his skin even by a groveling trip to the new boss’s court at Mar-a-Lago. Regime change by trash talk; that’s a new one. And once again, that old lesson: it’s safer to be a respected adversary than a disrespected friend.

Trump’s gripes and demands, in any case, are extremely ill-founded. If the US were a country that had to argue its case, no one would even pay attention. Canada is a sovereign country; the preponderant majority of its 40 million people have no interest in joining the US as its 51st state. Period. The whiny complaints that Trump and his team have made about bad treatment at the Panama Canal don’t withstand scrutiny, as the by-no-means unpatriotic Wall Street Journal has detailed in a podcast: No, the US is not “being ripped off at the Panama Canal;” no, American shippers are not treated worse than others or being price-gouged; and no, the US is not currently paying for the maintenance of the waterway. Instead, after completion of the canal handover in 1999/2000, that has been the task of the Canal Authority, which is, in essence, a business structure. Finally, the Chinese do not have soldiers in the Canal Zone, as Trump has claimed; and, in general, his screams of “China! China!” are as hyperbolic as always.

And Greenland – we’ll get to that in a moment. Yet it would be a grave mistake to underestimate how serious all of this seemingly absurd Trumpist braggadocio is. In general, that is so because the US is not a country in the habit of merely arguing its case. As a political culture, it is, instead, addicted to cheating and violence. That’s why it loves a “rules-based order” – with “rules” no one knows, except in Washington on any given day – and abhors international law.

In particular, it would be unwise to dismiss the Trumpist no-charm-all-harm offensive as just a grab bag of “power moves” to establish dominance and produce leverage. Just, in other words, a lot of ultimately empty noise to play for various political and trade advantages. That is a fashionable but shortsighted interpretation that lacks due diligence.

Things are, actually, not that simple, especially for America’s so-called “allies,” that is, its de facto clients and vassals. To understand why, the case of Greenland is most instructive. But it’s not enough to enumerate the legal rights and illegal claims involved. All that is rather obvious. The US wants to buy Greenland – not for the first time, by the way. Presidents Jackson and Truman had an eye on it as well.

In general, the US has a history not only of conquering and ethnically cleansing what it wants, but also of buying (including forced sales, of course) what it wants. Yet Greenland has belonged to Denmark for more than half a millennium. Denmark is a sovereign state, like the US. In theory, therefore, the US can only ask, but not demand. Denmark has – as we have all learned to repeat for Ukraine – “agency.” And Denmark has said “No” – not for the first time, either. End of story.

In theory. In practice, as so often in history, the legal situation is just the starting point, where things begin to get interesting. For two sets of reasons, one pretty obvious, the other a little less so. Let’s look at the obvious first. As the New York Times has pointed out, Trump is, by deformation professionnelle, a real estate developer. As a real estate tycoon, the other side saying “No” is just an opening bid, a challenge to up the arm twisting and, perhaps, the offer, too.

What it is definitely not is a reason to stop. Greenland looks to him, as he himself has stated, like yet another very desirable piece of property. The reasons for that are, actually, solid enough. Greenland has a strategic location between the thawing Arctic, which is the theater of a new great game of geopolitics currently – literally – heating up. (Let’s just pass over the irony that when US Republicans get greedy enough, they even admit that global warming is real.) And Greenland also features enticing raw material deposits.

That’s why, for instance, the EU has a special agreement with Greenland’s Minerals Resources Authority. So, if Washington takes over under the guise of having to fend off the big bad Russians and Chinese, again, a handsome side effect would be to shaft the hapless, submissive, self-destructive Europeans, again. Profit is nice. But what’s wrong with having a little fun, too? What’s not to love? Except, of course, if we play by international law, what you want is not automatically what you get. You would also have to have a right to it; and there’s the rub again: Washington does not. Yet, that has never stopped it, has it?

Moreover, the US is trying to exploit Denmark’s constitutional fault lines. Almost as if Washington was in the habit of subverting other countries! In this case, the idea is that Greenland has a special status, founded on the 2009 Greenland Self-Government Act, and a very small population of less than 60,000. Maybe they could be induced – by a mix of threats and incentives – to fully secede from the Danish state? And then, of course, be promptly re-attached to Washington, one way or the other, including as, in essence, a protectorate. That is the idea paraded openly by former Trump adviser, Alexander Gray. See how that works?

“Let us help you gain your independence,” Uncle Sam is kindly saying. “And then lose it again. To us.” What an original script. Not. Rest assured, trite as the approach is, Gray is not alone. And finally, here is the less obvious – and most important reason – why especially America’s allies should be very worried about the Greenland move currently underway in the US.

Look at its essence. The US elite is saying three things to Denmark: One, we know and decide who your enemies are (Russia and China, of course); and no, you do not get to challenge that decision, as if you were a genuinely sovereign country. Move two: Once we have defined your enemies, we also tell you that they are enemies of all of us (the West, NATO etc.), and that you have an obligation to contribute to our common defense against them as we – not you – see fit. Move three: We find that you are not doing enough for that defense; and once that is so, we have a right to either force you to pay for our protection or, if you cannot do that, give up your stuff to us.

That is the essence of a recent Fox News interview with another former Trump adviser, Robert O’Brien. You see what this is, right? It’s pure, explicit mafia logic.

No more frills, no more sugar-coating. You may say, so what’s new? Isn’t that just the usual Trump effect: it’s basically what the US always does but without the sweet-talking? True. But still, there is something special in the boldness with which this doctrine is now displayed in public. Its general applicability should worry every American “ally.”

Take Germany, for instance. For years now, the “Zeitenwende” Germans have made a point of sucking up to the US by flogging themselves over not yet doing enough to build up their military. That narrative, so willingly, masochistically endorsed by them might well come back to bite them in the behind. Imagine Trump one day saying: “You know what, Berlin? You are right: you are not doing enough to defend us all against Russia and China. We, the US feel ripped off, again. And once that is so, pay us more or, you know, we really think that special-status ‘free state’ of Bavaria you have there is far too pretty to be left to your insufficient care.” Absurd? Absolutely.

Only, tell me why that means it’s not possible. But then again, current Western European “elites” are so used to selling out, maybe they won’t even mind.”

“I am the Emperor and I want Dumplings!”

Emperor Donald the 1st….Self-Crowned Ruler of the Global Planet Earth speaks

This moment in history:

Trump will most likely be remembered in history as the Emperor wanting to unilaterally rename a huge body of international water.

“Let the Gulf of Mexico forevermore be called The Gulf of America”.

But there have been many other eccentric Emperors before Trump. There was the Emperor Ferdinand I of Austria 1793-1875 remembered for his command to his cook: when told he could not have apricot dumplings (Marillenknödel) because apricots were out of season, he said “I am the Emperor, and I want dumplings!” (German: Ich bin der Kaiser und ich will Knödel!).[7

Of course Emperor Ferdinand was not allowed to actually rule and was kept secluded in a room in the palace for decades.

**************

Good Wednesday morning beloved sentients. Well, what a roller coaster ride Canadians have had over the last 72 hours. We went from a moment of joy during which we falsely believed JFT had resigned…to absolute terror when Putative Emperor Trump decreed Canada no longer existed as a sovereign nation but had been relegated to part of an extensive penile implant he was arranging in order to wag it in front of Putin and Xi.

The horror Canadians experienced was unmatched in our national experience. Now we might even have to brag about being a rump state attached to the only nation to land humans on the moon!

Hang on a minute! Didn’t Trump run on an anti-globalist platform–where he promised instantaneous “Peace on Earth” in Ukraine the Middle East and beyond? Now he wants to fight Canada, Mexico, Greenland[Finland] and Panama. Now he thinks he’s the Emperor of Planet Earth–able to rename huge international swaths of water with a wave of his hand. What actually happened here?!

Well, here’s one possible explanation…He made what he now considers to be a bad trade deal last time around and wants to bully/threaten nations into giving up their resources for pennies on the dollar. Read this report below from CHEK TV the Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA local media outlet:

https://cheknews.ca/what-trumps-really-mad-at-a-bad-deal-that-he-negotiated-1232682/embed/#?secret=zhp0bRz3my#?secret=NebSFUWEHg

Yes, folks, there may be a quasi-logical reason behind Trump’s irrational tirade/tantrum. But we can’t overlook his diktat to rename The Gulf of Mexico as The Gulf of America…now that’s a pronouncement that makes one pause and look to the heavens for guidance.

The Gulf of Mexico is international waters where sovereign nations like Mexico and Cuba are located. Shouldn’t renaming be an international decision based on history, etc?

When I read about this announcement yesterday I thought back to that 1950’s movie, The Caine Mutiny. Ever watch that old psychological thriller? Here’s a synopsis from Wikipedia:

The Caine Mutiny – Plot

“…During World War II, newly commissioned Ensign Willis Seward “Willie” Keith reports to the minesweeper USS Caine, where he meets career officer Lt. Stephen Maryk, the ship’s executive officer, and aspiring novelist and communications officer Thomas Keefer. Soon after, Lt. Commander Philip Francis Queeg is assigned command of the Caine. The eccentric Queeg instills strict discipline on the lax crew, making him unpopular with them, but admired by Keith.

During a gunnery target towing exercise, Queeg is distracted berating Keith and Keefer over a crewman’s appearance, resulting in the ship steering over the towline, setting the target adrift. Queeg tries to cover up the incident.

Assigned to escort a group of landing craft during an invasion of a small Pacific island, Queeg abandons his mission before he reaches the designated departure point, and instead orders the dropping of a yellow dye marker, leaving the landing craft to fend for themselves. Queeg asks his officers for their support, but they remain silent and nickname him “Old Yellowstain”, which implies cowardice.

Keefer, believing Queeg to be paranoid, encourages Maryk to consider relieving Queeg on the basis of mental incapacity under Article 184 of Navy Regulations. Though Maryk angrily rejects that possibility, he does begin keeping a medical log documenting the captain’s behavior.

When strawberries go missing from the officers’ mess, Queeg convenes an elaborate investigation to determine the culprit. The investigation involves searching the ship and stripping all crew members. Convinced of Queeg’s instability, Maryk asks Keefer and Keith to go with him to see Admiral Halsey about the matter. Arriving aboard Halsey’s flagship, Keefer backs down and they return to the ship.

At the height of Typhoon Cobra, Maryk urges the captain to reverse course into the wind and take on ballast, but Queeg refuses and virtually freezes up on the bridge. Maryk, supported by Keith, relieves Queeg of command under Article 184. The Caine returns to San Francisco, where Maryk and Keith face a court-martial for mutiny. Lieutenant Barney Greenwald, a temporarily grounded naval aviator and an attorney before entering the Navy, becomes Maryk’s defense counsel.

At the court-martial, Keefer claims he never observed any mental illness in Queeg and was “flabbergasted” when he was relieved. Under Greenwald’s relentless cross-examination, Queeg exhibits odd behavior on the stand, including his habit of rolling two steel balls in his hand symbolizing his mental instability, and Maryk is acquitted.” End of plot.

**********

Greencrow continues: Yep, I see a co-relation between the missing strawberries in The Caine Mutiny and Trump wanting to rename The Gulf of Mexico. Someone on the Trump Team better start “keeping a log” of his behaviour….because, folks, in my opinion, Trump is flaming nutZ and the world will soon realize it. Everyone who backed him, including Kennedy and Musk, will be responsible/implicated in his insane decision-making Oooooowweeeeeeeeoooooooooo. To be continued…

Top US Diplomat comments on Trump’s Greenland Plan

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke against the incoming president’s idea

…The idea expressed about Greenland is obviously not a good one,” Blinken said on Wednesday, during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot in Paris.

“But it’s not going to happen, so we shouldn’t waste time talking about it,” he added…”

You never know who your real friends are until you fall upon hard times:

NEW: From @Megatron_ron on “X”

“The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz calls on EU countries to stand together against the US attempt to take Greenland from Denmark: “Borders must not be moved by force. This principle applies to every country, whether in the East or the West. In talks with our European partners, there is an uneasiness regarding recent statements from the US. It is clear: We must stand together.”

Interestingly, the Scholz government fully supports Israel in moving its borders to Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.”

Trump: The Art of the Stab in the Back

The US president-elect Trump doesn’t realize the value of trust. As a salesman [which is what he is] he should. But, not only has he forever lost the trust of close allies like Canada, Denmark, Panama and Mexico–he has wounded our national psyches.

I know as a Canadian what it felt like to be called a 51st state. But how does Finland feel? Greenland is part of Finland’s ancient ancestral heritage and Trump’s behaving like Greenland is a used car. It’s so hard to fathom the layers of “stab in the back” insult imbedded in what Trump’s doing. But the hurt will last for generations and centuries.

Slowly but inevitably the other world powers are making statements echoing Canada’s sentiments about Trump’s threats, which a Canadian MP referred to as “something out of a South Park cartoon”.

“Immigration Minister Marc Miller repeated an earlier comment comparing Trump’s rhetoric to an episode of the animated comedy South Park. He said he’ll only start to worry if Trump appoints Eric Cartman, a foul-mouthed 10-year-old from the show, to the joint chiefs of staff.

“It’s silly, it’s unbecoming of a president to say that, but we do have to take it seriously and we will continue to do that,” he said.”

Here’s Russia’s response:

************

Kremlin responds to Trump’s Greenland Acquisition Proposal

Russia will maintain its presence in the Arctic and is interested in peace and stability in the region, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said

https://www.rt.com/russia/610638-russia-trump-greenland-acquisition/

“Moscow has called for peace and stability to be maintained in the Arctic after US President-elect Donald Trump refused to deny that he could annex Greenland for national security and economic purposes.

The incoming president has refused to rule out taking the Danish autonomous territory, which is rich in gold and uranium and is believed to have vast oil reserves in its territorial waters, by military force if necessary.

Speaking to journalists at a press briefing on Thursday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov highlighted that the Arctic is also in the sphere of Russia’s national and strategic interests.

“We are present in the Arctic zone, and we will continue to be present there,” Peskov said, adding that Russia is “interested in maintaining an atmosphere of peace and stability” in the region and is “ready to cooperate with all countries of the world in the name of this peace and stability.”

Russia’s ambassador to Denmark, Vladimir Barbin, has also emphasized that Russia aims to keep the Arctic stable and warned that “an attempt to strengthen US national security at the expense of other countries… will be taken into account by Russia in its military planning.”

Barbin also stated that the fate of Greenland should be decided only on the basis of the will of its people within the framework of current Danish legislation and without “interference from outside.”

Former Russian President and the deputy chairman of the country’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has also described Trump’s plans as “over the top and eccentric – and totally unworkable.”

Trump floated the intention of gaining control over the Panama Canal and buying Greenland from Denmark earlier this week. He argued that control over the Arctic island was an “absolute necessity” for US national security.

“People really don’t even know if Denmark has any legal right to it, but if they do, they should give it up because we need it,” he told journalists at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday.

The Danish government and Greenland’s leaders, however, have repeatedly rejected the idea of selling the autonomous territory. Greenland’s Prime Minister Múte Egede stated that “we are not for sale, and we will not be for sale.”

**********

Greencrow concludes: Folks: What has been going on with Trump going completely off the rails of his campaign pledges and stated policies and principles is unprecedented. Never before has a President-elect of a country, mouthed off about annexing other countries before even taking office! I have thought long and hard about what’s really going on and there are three possibibilities:

ONE: Trump is demented like Captain Queeg of “The Caine Mutiny” and sadly [because he’s the second president in a row with this affliction], must be removed from office.

TWO: This is the Armageddon. This is the end of times and Trump is the Angel of Death heralding the final conflagration–which will end civilization.

THREE: Well, no folks, there are only TWO possibilities and I have already listed them above. We will see how this unfolds. Stay tuned.
