Good Tuesday morning Beloved Sentients….this post is yet another “TEST”. I have been having problems with the WordPress platform lately and perhaps have triggered one too many algorithm “forbidden words’ in my many posts about Trump. Just today there was yet another dust up with Canada’s Prime Minister Carney where in Trump phoned Carney yesterday in a vain effort to bask in the reflected glory of Carney’s historic speech at Davos last week which got a rare standing ovation from the assembled elite. Trump’s 90 minute ramble a day later OTOH gathered yawns and fact checkers alike in equal number.

Greencrow comments: Folks, Trump’s last week denigration of the non-US NATO soldiers’ activities in Afghanistan brought me full circle–to what got me blogging in the first place. As long time readers will recall, it was the Tarnak Farm Incident, back on April 17, 2002, that woke me up to the true nature of Canada’s neighbour to the south. I knew from the second I heard about this so-called “Friendly Fire” incident that it was a deliberate act of war on Canada cowardly hidden under cover. I found out from following the official investigation into the Tarnak Farm Incident that it was by no means isolated. The US forces had been gunning for foreign NATO members all along. It was revealed in investigation testimony that another incident which would have been even more serious was averted at the last moment when a Canadian military officer who happened to be stationed in the Air Traffic Control tower overheard communications between US fighter planes and ground control and intervened just before the order to fire on Canadians was given! There were at least three suspicious incidents of “friendly fire” against Canadians in Afghanistan.

Greencrow comments: following the International blowback to Trump’s disgusting comments about NATO soldiers in Afghanistan, Trump made an historic partial walk back by praising UK soldiers. As everyone knows, Trump NEVER apologizes for any of his verbal diarrhea so this was a momentous achievement by Kier Starmer to get that weak apology. Trump did not, however, apologize to any of the other NATO countries for his slur of their contribution to the US War on Afghanistan–including the Danes–who lost more soldiers per capita than any other country.
But, Trump can never successfully bully the stock market–or prevent the sale of US Treasuries…so there’s that.
