There’s one strategy they always use….the threat of a lost deal due to a missed timeline. Here in British Columbia they use the ruse: “There’s a buyer/seller coming over from Vancouver island who wants to buy/sell the property.” Or, if you live on Vancouver Island then the buyer/seller lives on the BC mainland. Either way, it’s always the same tactic. Set a time constraint and hope that the sucker bites.
That’s the worn and tattered tactic that Trump tried to use with the Iranians…set a deadline [48 hours] and hope the sucker caves. Then, if the sucker doesn’t bite then lie and say s/he did:
