July 1, 2026 US military comes to the Venezuelan “double tap” earthquake rescue:
“U.S. scales up military assistance
...The United States, which has said it will take control of Venezuela’s oil industry after seizing former leader Nicolas Maduro in January, has scaled up its assistance, with 900 military personnel currently on the ground to support relief and rescue operations as of Wednesday, Steven McLoud, a U.S. Southern Command spokesperson, told The Associated Press.
The military has repaired the earthquake-damaged runway at the main Caracas international airport to allow for the arrival of humanitarian assistance and stationed naval assets off the coast to receive airlifted survivors…”

Good Monday morning beloved sentients. Today the post is a follow-up to my previous report on the Venezuelan earthquake. You can access my previous post HERE.
The Venezuelan earthquake is shaping up to be the biggest catastrophe in modern times–with some estimates of 100,000 people missing and now presumed dead. Yet, the reporting in the mainstream media has not been up to par in the slightest…the World Cup of Football [Soccer] is claiming the majority of headlines. It seems that the MSM has been ordered to downplay/minimiZe the catastrophe.
Yet the news and commentary that has come out has been devastating, I present two such reports below.
First, we have a report from a local Vancouver paper where a Vancouverite was visiting his Venezuelan family/friends and staying in a highrise condo when the tremors struck:

…“There was no room for bodies. Bodies were piled up outside in the yard and containers, in body bags, no body bags,” he said.
Thousands of Venezuelans are still missing, and some estimates of how many people have died are in the tens of thousands.
Dos Santos says that as a father, seeing the number of children in the street is one of the hardest parts.
“The orphanages do not have the capacity to bring in all these children that are now left without parents. As a country, we do not have the resources to deal with the massive tragedy like it is,” he added.
With the critical 72-hour period to locate survivors amid the rubble now having passed, search and rescue teams will largely be uncovering the dead…”

Greencrow continues: Strangely, not one single peep have I heard from Donald Trump about Venezuela–the country that just a few months ago he was bragging that the US was “going to run”. Trump blathers non stop about any random clickbait in the news–but has not even expressed personal condolences to the Venezuelan people for the deaths so far as I have heard—and I’ve been watching and listening for his reaction since the first day. If anyone has heard Trump speak publicly about the Venezuelan catastrophe–please let me know.
On the other hand, State of the Nation has posted an EXCELLENT commentary/analysis–the best compilation of evidence for the argument that USrael perhaps used what Trump has called their “discombobulation” technology to cause the seismic events.

It struck on Independence Day, without a single foreshock… upon a nation Washington already controls. The timing alone demands an answer.

It was June 24th, 2026. Venezuela’s national holiday, the anniversary of the 1821 Battle of Carabobo, the day Simón Bolívar broke the chains of Spanish colonial rule. Families were home. Schools were closed. The streets of Caracas carried the particular ease of a country at rest, commemorating the birth of its own sovereignty.
At 6:04 in the evening on that celebratory day, the ground opened.
A magnitude 7.2 struck near Yumare on Venezuela’s northern coast. Thirty-nine seconds later, before the dust from the first collapse had time to settle, a 7.5 hit the same zone. Buildings didn’t just crack. They folded.
Entire neighborhoods of Caracas, La Guaira, Valencia, Maracay, gone. A 22-story building in Altamira collapsed completely. In southeastern Caracas, witnesses reported that almost every high-rise in sight had been destroyed or heavily damaged. At Simón Bolívar International Airport, the roof came down. The airport that bears the name of Venezuela’s great liberator, closed.
Hundreds of high-rises suffered the same fate.
The USGS called it a “doublet,” a rare seismic phenomenon in which two earthquakes of similar magnitude detonate in rapid succession, each amplifying the destruction of the other. Their own PAGER model put a 30% probability on the final death toll exceeding 100,000. More than 40,000 people are currently unaccounted for. Official confirmed dead: 589 and rising, as rescue teams dig through rubble with their bare hands.

This is a catastrophe of biblical proportions. And it demands questions of the same proportion…”

Greencrow concludes: Remember Sherlock Holmes and “The dog that did not bark?” theory of crime investigation? Well that seems to apply here. Trump definitely did not and has not “barked” about a country he claimed to be so solicitous of that he kidnapped their democratically-elected President because of some “Trumped up” drug charges.
Meanwhile some estimates of the numbers killed by the “earthquakes” in Venezuela are now soaring past 100,000 souls--as the hope of rescuing more from the rubble evaporates in the tropical heat.
And, meanwhile, Trump continues to hold Maduro in a NYC cell and is literally “lawfaring” him and his wife to death–while at the same time rendering their nation into rubble.
Are we done [with Trump] yet, Americans?
