UPDATE: Many Canadians blame the Governor General for accepting the Liberal pretend resignation and proroguing Parliament. Here is Greencrow’s comment to that as posted on X:

As I stated many times, and in recent conversations with my American colleagues, I do NOT want to become an American, for the fact that America is even more screwed up that we up here in Canada….
What Canada needs is a complete change in power and a total reform of its present economic system that has been so butchered and ruined by TURDEAU and his WEF henchmen…. This nation used to be pretty well off economically, but TURDEAU absolutely destroyed that in less than 10 years sitting in Parliament acting like he is this nation’s Emperor….
I say call an immediate Federal Election and have Canadians vote with their feet as to whether or not they want to remain Canadians or be sucked into the abyss that is now the United States….. I will bet that Canadians will show their real colours and want to remain a free nation and be proud to be called Canadians..

I don’t think Donald Trump has ever spent more than a few days at most in Canada. He does not KNOW US. He does not know our history, our [legal and otherwise} very complicated relationship with our First Nations who we did NOT massacre en masse like the Americans did theirs.
Trump has so little respect for Canadians he’s telling us what we think…read that stupid fucking post of his above. Trump is a fucking CREEP and now I know why so many Americans were terrified of him becoming President. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but no longer. My dear Canadians, and fellow-tarvellers, I would dearly like to agree with most of the commenters and of course the writer of this ‘blog’ that the US has no right to the current bluster of the ‘Orange-man’ and his bulderdash of ‘annexation’ … it won’t happen BECAUSE the Swamp-cretins who own and control the USA are, by-and-large the very same ceratures who own-and-control Canada as well as the 5-eyes contries. They’re one and the same.
So, rather than be distracted by the smoke-and-mirrors, try to focus on what exactly is being obscured while the people are being distracted by some billionaire in the employ of the Pilgrims Society. What is being hidden, while the people are being distracted?? Also, just bare in mind that Justin T has always been a ‘flawed’ charcter who was compromised BEFORE he was s/elected to/for public-office. Point of fact, that was probably the reason he was actually pumped-up and promoted to his position of PM. It should by now be glaringly obvious to ALL that the selected-leaders leaders appear to have been compromised at an earlier stage and are now beholden to the ‘face-less barbarians, in suits’. I do indeed feel sorry/concerned about my friends to the south. Someone who goes around like a bull in a china shop insulting and alienating everyone he opens his mouth to cannot in the long term be good for the United States. After all, the United States can’t take over the entire world, can it? What ever happened to “soft power”?
