Good Friday afternoon beloved sentients. I was going to do some serious yard work today but a cool blustery wind with showers is making it, at least for the time being, an inside day. So I will complete and publish this post on Zelensky’s “Open Letter” to Putin that I started yesterday.
First we have this report from Al Jazeera about the Open Letter. From reading the contents of the letter it appears to me that Zelensky wrote it on orders from his USrael/NATO handlers–more to poke the Russian bear than to bring peace to the benighted land of Ukraine and the Western Russian territories that border it.
Another reason for the letter might be to get Russia to hold back on the coming “final assault on Kiev” which is surely to come this summer and, if it is like recent missile attacks, will do devastating damage to the capital of Ukraine.
I have numbered all the lies Zelensky tells in the report below. Please read the following report from Al Jazeera and i will have more links and comments on Zelensky’s lies to follow at the conclusion of this post:

“President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a personal invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin in an open letter published June 4, offering to meet face-to-face to put an end to five years of full-scale war.
The letter was published a day after Ukraine launched a large-scale attack on St. Petersburg, striking a major oil terminal and military targets on the same morning Putin welcomed world leaders to the city for his flagship economic forum.
In it, Zelensky lays out his case for Putin’s need to end the fighting and sets terms for the reopening of negotiations.
“Almost half of your 26 years of power in Russia you have spent in the war against Ukraine,”[1] Zelensky wrote.
“Whatever you say about NATO, geopolitics and the Russian language, this war is your personal choice [2]— a war without a real reason. [3]This is how history will remember it.” [4]
Zelensky described Russia’s failure to conquer Kyiv and quell Ukrainian resistance during the 2022 invasion, [5]the devastating effects of international sanctions on the Russian economy, p[6]the staggering scale of Russia’s personnel losses, and the growing discontent of Putin’s population as the war drags on — and comes closer to home.
“(The Russian people) do not like our drones and missiles,” the president wrote. [7]
“They do not like the shortage of gasoline [8]and the constant rise in prices. They do not like the constant bans. They do not like your intention to organize a second wave of mobilization to expand the war to another direction in Ukraine or to direct it against some other countries [9]— Russia’s neighbors. They do not like the fact that there is no end in sight to your war.” [10]
Zelensky invited Putin to meet with him in a neutral country to work out terms for a peace agreement. The president said he was open to a full ceasefire during the negotiation period [11]and to beginning peace talks with an all-for-all prisoner exchange.
“Ukraine offers to end this war,” he said. “We must do it honestly, [12]with dignity, and guarantee that there will be no new outbreak of war. … I propose a meeting with you.”
Zelensky called on the Russian president to “set a clear date for the meeting,” and said both the United States and Europe should have a role in the discussions. [13]He also urged the Kremlin to abandon stalling tactics, [14] “shuttle diplomacy,” and unreasonable maximalist demands, saying: “The front line now is the line from which diplomacy should begin.”[lol 15]
“We need to determine what the future will be for all future generations of Ukrainians and Russians,” Zelensky told his Russian counterpart.[16]
“If you personally do not come to the idea in your thoughts that it is time to end this war, Ukraine will continue to fight for its existence. We will have those who will support us. But you will also have to fight much more for your existence — not Russia’s, but your own.”[17]”

Greencrow continues: Moscow responded to the Open Letter in the following report which includes Rubio’s flip flop on the USrael position on Ukraine–further confirming–as if anyone had any doubt–that the US is agreement incapable. Putin himself made some wry commentary on the Open Letter during his press conference at the ongoing yearly St. Petersburg Economic Conference. His remarks are quintessential Putinesque understated humour and cynical satire:

“Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he sees “no sense” in meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, responding to an open letter from the Ukrainian leader. The “author of the letter” has done everything to make such talks impossible, Putin stated at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), adding that even his latest call for talks included “elements of insolence.”
On Thursday, Zelensky published what was described as an “open letter” on his website, where he called on the Russian president to negotiate an end to the Ukraine conflict during a personal meeting. In the letter he described the conflict as Putin’s “personal choice” that would allegedly bring “negative consequences” for Russia.
He appeared to issue some thinly veiled threats by saying that most Ukrainians would support Ukrainian drones paying “a visit” to the SPIEF. He also claimed that the Russian president “will have to fight much harder for [his] existence” while repeatedly vowing to make Ukraine “work” to bring the Russian government closer to its alleged demise while hinting that Putin’s “age is beginning to take its toll” after decades in power.
The Russian president responded by saying that age is just a number and that it is a person’s competency and performance that really matter. Putin, 73, also said that world leaders who are older than him “demonstrate sufficient energy” while in office.
Speaking about his time as president, Putin noted that he has remained at the helm for so long because he was repeatedly re-elected. “One should not be afraid to run in the elections,” the president stated, adding that “keeping the power in breach of the constitution amounts to its usurpation.”
Russia has repeatedly argued that Zelensky is an “illegitimate” leader since his five-year presidential term expired in May 2024. Zelensky postponed holding a new vote under various pretexts. In February, he claimed that Ukraine’s Western backers could be pressuring him to hold a vote only to oust him.
Moscow has consistently said that it remains open to negotiations but insists that any lasting settlement must address the root causes of the conflict, including Ukrainian neutrality and recognition of the Donbass republics as part of Russia.
Zelensky reiterated Kiev’s demands in his letter by calling for a “ceasefire” before the start of any peace talks and rejecting the idea of ceding territory to Russia.
The Kremlin has repeatedly stated that Zelensky could always come to Moscow if he wants to talk to Putin – an offer the Ukrainian leader explicitly rejected in his letter.”

Greencrow continues: I have taken Zelensky’s letter and numbered the lies in it. I will give the numbers and briefly state the actual truth below:
- Five out of 25 is not “half”;
- The war was the choice of Victoria Nuland and the USSD along with UK/NATO who thought they could deliver what they termed a “strategic defeat” to Russia;
She [Victoria Nuland] oversaw U.S. efforts to encourage a street coup in Kiev—going so far as to hand out cookies to anti-government protesters alongside the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt. . .
NOTE to readers: The infamous photo of Nuland handing out cookies in Maidan square has been scrubbed from the Internet….even from my own collection of photos on my hard drive! This is the best I could find–her talking to the Azov-linked rioters in the square:
. After the coup, Nuland became an unwitting symbol of American heavy-handedness in the region when a call between her and Pyatt leaked in which they were heard to be hand-picking personnel for the new government in Ukraine. What would the EU think? “Fuck the EU,” exclaimed Nuland, a diplomat.”
3. LOL…this is how history will remember it –because the perpetrators of the war control the mass media and are working overtime to scrub the true history of the roots of the conflict’
4. Putin never tried “to conquer Kiev”
5. The Russian economy is one of the healthiest in the world–only 10% debt unlike the US which is 130% in unpayable debt;
6. The Russians, while paying a very steep price to maintain their sovereignty–have not suffered casualties to the same extent that Ukraine has–to the point where it is forcing its poorly trained and equipped youth to the front lines.
7. Russians have comparatively low gas prices because they are independent when it comes to oil and gas.
8. Russia, unlike the US, has not threatened any other country.
9. Russians know and are in agreement Putin that there can be no Peace Agreement that sacrifices Russian sovereignty and/or security. Russians would not want Putin to end the war just for the sake of a fake and temporary “peace”.
10. Putin has said many times that he’s willing to meet Zelensky to sign an already agreed-upon Peace Agreement–but will not travel just to sit down and argue about the same old “square peg/round hole” debates on the outstanding issues;
11. It is Russia that has pushed for the prisoner exchanges.
12. Zelensky is not interested in “dignity”. Anyone who used to earn their living by playing the piano with their penis does not know the meaning of the word “dignity.
13. The United States and Europe have shown they are NOT interested in peace. All they want is the “strategic defeat” of Russia which was their goal when they ousted the legitimate leader of Ukraine back in 2020.
14. Russia is not “stalling” it has laid down the same principles upon which it would sign a peace agreement numerous times since 2022. These are always the same principles. It’s just that the USSD/NATO/Ukraine don’t LIKE the Russian terms because they are not the “strategic defeat” that the handlers demand;
15. LOL Zelensky is wanting to create the current frontline as the place where the diplomacy begins because he’s afraid that Russia will soon take over Odessa and Kiev. He is trying to set a verbal boundary on Russian conquered territory;
16. Again, Putin did not “personally” start this war…in fact he was becoming unpopular due to delaying a Russian response to the escalating violent attacks on the Donbass civilians in their homes and on their streets back in 2022. He was forced into the war by the discovery that the UKraine had set up biological weapons labs on its Russian border.
17. LOL here is where Zelensky caps off his Open Letter with a veiled threat on Putin’s life…the height of insolence…in a begging letter for peace. Zelensky is far more at risk than Putin…and he knows it…one reason why he wrote the Letter…on orders from those who brought him into power and could take him out.

Greencrow concludes: Folks it’s quite shocking the way the Internet is being scrubbed of the history of what happened to start the USSD/NATO/UKraine proxy war on Russia. That is one reason why I blogg…to try and preserve the truth about history. But it is like Canute trying to hold back the tide….
