As Trump’s mother Mary used to say…”Donald has no social skills whatsoever.”
Iranians have searched the English language lexicon and have managed to come up with the perfect adjective to describe Trump–vulgar.

Trump held off just long enough for the Soccer Championship to get well underway and for him to add to the humiliation of the American soccer team’s defeat by inserting himself into the sport to sully it with his Reverse Midas Touch. He phoned up the head of FIFA and demanded a red-carded US player be reinstated into the last American game.
Then he flew off to the NATO meeting in Turkey where he called Zelensky Putin and the entire Iranian nation “scum”. Then he used the NATO media platform to announce that he was killing the MoU that had been meticulously arrived at by Pakistan and the combatants just weeks earlier.

Can you believe that Trump wasted about an hour and a half of Putin’s time with another nuisance phone call the other day? And he phoned up Canada’s PM Carney and wasted over an hour of his time as well. Canada is in the midst of crucial trade negotiations with the US but, astonishingly according to Carney Trump did not bring up the topic of trade once! Apparently they talked about Iran. Perhaps Trump offered Carney some bribe because I understand that this morning Carney issued a statement supporting the USrael strikes on Iran. This would be contrary to the views OF A VAST MAJORITY OF CANADIANS!
I hope Iran puts Trump where he belongs…once and for all. At the very minimum, the US can kiss all its Middle East bases good bye.

Canada has nobody to vote for. All the candidates are pro-WWIII. I will most likely never vote in a federal election again.

At this point I see very little policy difference between Poilevre and Carney. Carney is cagier and does a neat bob and weave through his many conflicting statements about Iran in particular. The only thing that keeps him from joining Trump on this issue is his cabinet which I believe has a few Muslim MP’s…thank God.
