Good Wednesday morning beloved sentients. It is a cool, overcast day on the Malahat. Rain has been predicted for days but has not materialized. We’re enjoying the last few days of the summer holidays before school starts and things [especially traffic on the Malahat] get even crazier than usual.
Folks, everyone is shell-shocked by now due to Trump’s psychosis/dementia and its devastating impact on everything it touches. Even I who warned about his toxicity back in January of 2025 did not anticipate how bad things could get. So bad that the US Secretary of War [used to be Defense] posted a photo of a Canadian cadet and body shamed her as a way of provoking Canadians.
Can you even believe it? This, after Trump renamed Lake Ontario last week to get back at Ford. My advice to Canadian Leaders is do what parents do to any unruly toddler–ignore the stomping and screaming to get attention. Close the door.
It’s harder for Iranian’s to ignore the Trumpian psychoses when he’s ordering the bombing of their citizen’s weddings–killing families and children [his favourite stunt after re-naming bodies of water].

“Hello Mr [former CIA analyst and now journalist Larry] Johnson.
My name is Pete. I’ve been following you on social media for a long time, as well as your appearances with Danny, Jimmy, Glenn, and the Judge.
I know that the mental health of our armed services personnel is a subject of interest to you, so I wanted to reach out to you with a story of what happened on Luke AFB in Phoenix last Sunday, when my son took his own life on the Shoshone Trail at the Grand Canyon on Sunday the 17th.
My son Nigel was in the Air Force, in the 56th CES. He was deployed to Abu Dhabi for about 10 months. He was supposed to return on March 2nd, but the events on Feb 28th (which was also his BIRTHDAY) changed that abruptly, extending his deployment almost six months. He returned about a month ago, to Luke AFB in Arizona.
I know that Nigel is not unique in the trauma that he experienced , and in the decisions he made upon returning. Operational security prevented us from speaking as regularly as we did prior to the war starting, but I do know he was deeply affected by the double tap Tomahawk missile strike in Minab, and was sickened by the genocide in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Nobody, he said, believes in the mission.
I feel so powerless, and I lack the energy to push the military for how they have been addressing the mental health of our servicemen, so writing to you is the best I can manage to raise awareness of the state of morale in the military.
This generation sees through the bovine excrement in ways that mine did not.
And while I fear for the state of our military, my greater fear is for the souls of these young men and women.
Your voice is so important, and I urge you to continue doing what you do.

Folks it’s long overdue for Americans to take to the streets in anti-war demonstrations. They need to bring the curtain down on Trump’s stale Horror Show/Vaudeville act ASAP.
Trump needs to shuffle off to Buffalo–I mean jail. He needs to be outed for raping little girls as part of Epstein’s child trafficking ring–and do some serious time. That should be his legacy–because I know Americans will Never send him to jail for starting illegal wars
…because resource wars for fun and profit have been the US’s bread and butter for centuries.
