Good Wednesday morning beloved sentients. Looks like Trump is desperate for a deal…he’s being pressured not by his supplicant slavish servile aids/advisers…but by the pressure of oncoming events:
- His meeting with Xi in China; and
- the FIFA cup matches which should not be held in a country that gratuitously attacked another country and threatened it with annihilation [presumably].
Trump is desperate but remains completely clueless about how to achieve his ends in international negotiations. The most he’s ever done in terms of negotiation is New York/Florida real estate deals with people he could fleece because of daddy’s money. Even then he went bankrupt at least six times.
Below are some of the gyrations this “negotiation” has been going through over the past 12 hours. I do believe Trump has set a timeline for himself that he must get peace by the end of next weekend or he
a) will have to think up an excuse for why he won’t go to China; and
b) Will have to insult people in charge of the FIFA so they will move it elsewhere.
So, with that in mind, please review the following links just gleaned from my regular Internet news sources over the past hour. It will give you a jist of what is at stake and how it’s going. I’ll conclude with a brief summary and analysis thereafter.

Just moments ago. Israel always throws a spanner in the negotiating works if it gets close to settlement. They want/NEED eternal war:
ISRAEL BOMBED BEIRUT – THESE PEOPLE ARE EVIL
NO CEASEFIRE IS POSSIBLE WITH THEM

LOL this is from the Washington Post--blowing apart Trump’s cover that USrael won the war.
IRAN DESTROYED 228 U.S MILITARY STRUCTURES IN THE MIDDLE EAST
228 military structures across 15 militarily sites destroyed.
Kuwait & Bahrain were “hardest hit, possibly because they permitted attacks from their territory, including the use of HIMARS.”
Hangars, barracks, fuel depots, Patriot missile defense systems, radar and communications equipment, and a satellite dish were all hit.
Fifth fleet has relocated from Bahrain to Florida.
“The Iranian attacks were precise. There are no random craters indicating misses,” retired Marine colonel Mark Cancian told the Post.
Experts said the U.S. underestimated Iran’s targeting capabilities and failed to adapt to modern drone warfare, burning through 53% of its THAAD interceptors and 43% of its Patriot interceptors.
No Iranian imagery was found to have been manipulated,” the Post said.
Washington Post said its review “represents only a partial count of the damage,” two major commercial satellite providers, Vantor and Planet, withheld imagery. Source: Washington Post, DropSite News

Greencrow continues: I don’t know what this Axios is but it must be some CIA/Pentagon cutout…It keeps printing news stores about stuff that never happened or hasn’t happened yet.
Iran has to keep denying it’s “news” repots: Here is one such denial:
*********
From Suliaman Ahmed’s X account:
BREAKING: Spokesman of the Iranian National Security Council:
“Axios’ text is Americans’ wish list until it becomes reality, Americans will not obtain through a failed war what they failed to gain in face-to-face negotiations,
Iran has its finger on the trigger and is ready; if they do not surrender and grant the necessary concessions, or if they or their devilish henchdog allies try to act mischievously, we will deliver a harsh and regret-inducing response.”

UPDATE: This just in. Found out more about “Axios”:

Greencrow continues: I guess Trump’s poor, benighted mother Mary Trump never told her son the old adage: “You’ll get more flies with honey than you will with vinegar.” My mother used to always say that to us nine children when we tried to negotiate with insults and threats.

Meanwhile, that cute, little Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is over in China–wining and dining with top Chinese bureaucrats…congratulating one another on their win in the War on Iran and on their burgeoning partnership based on a common foe.
Greencrow comments: I don’t know why but I find Abbas Araghchi incredibly sexy. Can you even believe it? I looked him up and he’s been divorced and remarried with three children from his first wife. He has a doctorate in diplomatic studies…can I be attracted to his brain/mind power? Don’t know. Anyhooooooo….
Back to the “negotiations with a madman”… Here are some more headlines from earlier this morning:

BREAKING: REUTERS REPORTS PAKISTAN MEDIATED US–IRAN TALKS ARE CLOSE TO A ONE-PAGE DEAL TO END THE WAR
The draft MoU would pause fighting, freeze Iran’s nuclear enrichment under stricter inspections, ease some US sanctions, and reopen Strait of Hormuz shipping.
Iran is expected to respond within 48 hours, but nothing is signed yet.

Yet another AXIOS [fake?] report on a deal being close:
BREAKING: AXIOS REPORTS US AND IRAN ARE CLOSE TO A DEAL U.S. and Iranian officials are reportedly close to a brief 14-point agreement aimed at ending the current conflict and restarting nuclear negotiations. The proposed deal would pause Iran’s uranium enrichment for at least 12 years, ease U.S. sanctions, release frozen Iranian funds, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The framework would begin with a 30-day negotiation period, likely in Geneva or Islamabad, while both sides gradually roll back military and shipping restrictions. Iran would also accept tougher UN inspections and pledge not to pursue nuclear weapons. No final agreement has been reached. – Barak Ravid”

Greencrow continues: What Does it Mean has a good summary as usual today
China Forcefully Moves Trump To Peace Is Only Option In Iran War
“…The “other countries” referenced by President Trump in his announcement pausing the failed Project Freedom operation, this report continues, are led by China, which yesterday hosted Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi for talks in Beijing—were talks that saw Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi forcefully declaring that the American-Israeli war on Iran is “illegitimate” and warning: “We believe that a comprehensive ceasefire is urgently needed, that a resumption of hostilities is not acceptable, and that it is particularly important to remain committed to dialogue and negotiations”—and was a warning followed by Axios exclusively revealing today: “The White House believes it’s getting close to an agreement with Iran on a one-page memorandum of understanding to end the war and set a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations”.
In response to China forcefully moving President Trump towards peace as the only option to end the Iran War, this report concludes, Board Member Amir Handjani at the top American foreign policy think tank Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft observed: “Tehran and Beijing are aligning their interests before Trump’s summit with Xi Jinping”—and in responding to a media inquiry on whether the Chinese side could provide specific timing and details regarding President Trump’s visit to China, it saw Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian saying today: “You may stay tuned”.”

Greencrow continues: One trend that is percolating is the Western Mainstream Media is getting totally fed up with Trump’s antics. The TACO Tuesday tactic is wearing quite thin. Here’s the latest analysis from James Ball:
********
Trump’s grim retreat shows there’s no easy way out of the crisis he’s created
Story by James Ball
Trump’s grim retreat shows there’s no easy way out of the crisis he’s created
“…Wars never end themselves. Even just claiming victory and walking away without a deal requires Trump to ultimately make a decision. Anything else requires serious and sustained diplomacy.
Trump’s ever-changing approach to the stand-off with Iran, like those around Operation Project Freedom, point to his unwillingness to grapple with the complexities of the problems he has created. Instead, he is staying in his comfort zone of trying to govern via social media post.
Iran’s leaders will have taken note of his latest climbdown. Trump has taught them not to take his announcements seriously. With the life and death stakes at play, few things could be more dangerous than that.
Trump cannot simply wish his way through a military, geopolitical and economic crisis of his own making. The alarming thing is that it increasingly seems like no one around Trump is willing to tell him this. For any of this to end, Trump needs an actual plan. The question is whether he’s capable of producing one of those any more.”
******
Greencrow concludes: “A Fool Never Learns“– is another old adage that applies to Trumpanyahu. Here he is “coaxing” the winners of the War on Iran to the bargaining table. Do you think it will work? C’mon now!
How many more of these chapters of futility posts will I have to do to maintain the integrity of this “history” of the USraeli War on Iran as written by an 80 year old former social worker blogger living in the forests on the Malahat?
I want to end this project and store it in an archive to be referenced by any future researchers who want to see the stupidity of the early 21st century [If we survive]. They won’t believe the imbecile who led the former great nation of The United States of America to its utter and humiliating doom.
Stay tuned.
